The first western suburb 9 miles from downtown Chicago, Oak Park is acclaimed as the home of trailblazing authors and architects who helped shape American culture and modern home design in the 20th century.
Oak Park is the birthplace of novelist Ernest Hemingway, born in 1899, whose childhood home is now a museum. Architect Frank Lloyd Wright settled in Oak Park in 1889 and founded his architectural practice in 1893; Wright developed a philosophical foundation for his work focused on the concept of how people connect with nature and his Praire-style homes certainly bring this notion to life. Wright's architecture, including the Unity Temple, can be found throughout Oak Park, home to the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright designed buildings and homes in the world.
Oak Park Village has both an urban and suburban feel with a current population of 55,000. Commuters navigate the public transportation system with ease reaching the city's major employers, traveling by car on Interstate 290 or a CTA train to work at Fortune 500 companies such as Archer Daniels Midland, Exelon, Kraft Heinz, McDonald's, Motorola and Northern Trust.
Oak Park is a legendary village bursting with history at every corner. Residents enjoy the stunning properties, endless community activities and events for all ages. Bring your bike to Pedal Oak Park to explore the neighborhood on a bike tour where "wheels and architecture become one." Tours embark at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, where Prairie-School architecture began, and winds through tree-lined streets of stunning Oak Park neighborhoods. Dance, art and theater enthusiasts alike will relish the opportunity to take a class at the Oak Park Art League established in 1921 and enjoy live music, performances and concerts at venues like the Circle Theatre, Momenta Dance Company, Oak Park Festival Theatre and the Academy of Movement and Music.
We conduct a two-part screening process to determine your eligibility for tenancy. The first step is a credit check , criminal check, eviction check and payroll/cashflow check processed by a third-party company. The second step consists of income verification and rental verification.
It is our policy to offer equal housing for all people regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, familial any other protected characteristic recognized by federal, state, or local laws.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Anyone 18 and older residing in the apartment will be required to be a lessee. Therefore, all occupants 18 and over will be required to fill out an application.

The applicant screening service uses VantageScore 3.0, obtained by checking publicly available data on each applicant and used in this process to assess the applicant's ability to make rental payments. Excluding student loans and medical bills, you cannot have debt in collections.
Credit scores above 670 are put into review.
__Your gross monthly income from all legal sources must be three times the amount of rent.__.
